Our Data Protection and Employment Law practice is headed by Mihaela Cracea. A lawyer with over 16 years of professional experience, Mihaela is a founding partner, having extensive practice and experience in labour and employment law, IT and data privacy, as well as in the consumer protection law. Mihaela enjoys internationally recognised legal excellence by managing complex cross border projects, involving employment, data privacy and e-commerce. Mihaela believes that the adaptability and anticipation are her greatest abilities in a world of differences, continuous changes and the unforeseen.As graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University in Constanta, Mihaela holds an LL.M. degree in Business and Competition Law and is an intellectual property practitioner. She has co-authored several international comparative legal guides focusing on data protection matters & digital environment and attended, as speaker, a significant number of conferences on cyber security and data privacy, as well as on labour and employment. Mihaela is proficient in English and conversant in French. 

Cristina Lefter is an attorney at law, member of the Bucharest Bar and the Romanian Bar Association since 2011. Cristina has developed her professional background by working with the local office of a Magic Law Firm in Romania, as well as with the affiliated law firm to a Big 4 company in Romania. Cristina has further enhanced her commercial oriented approach by working as in-house transaction counsel with the investment arm of one of the leading firms in CEE specialized in acquisitions and servicing of NPLs portfolios. From this latter position, Cristina has been involved in a series of acquisitions in Romania, as well as other jurisdictions within the CEE. Cristina specializes on business law matters, with a particular focus on commercial, corporate, transaction law and real estate related issues, as well as regulatory and compliance matters. In this latter field, Cristina particularly centers her attention on competition law compliance. The style of work adopted by Cristina is based on direct communication, transparency and proper setting of expectations and objectives. Cristina is reliable, detail oriented and dedicated to providing high quality, flexible advice adapted to the requirements of the everchanging Romanian business environment. Cristina graduated the Law School of the Bucharest University and holds an LL.M in EU competition law and regulation with the University of Amsterdam. She in proficient in English and has solid German language working capabilities.
